Creative Community Arts Program (CAP)
The Creative Arts Program (CAP) is a free, public arts initiative based in Fort Collins, Colorado, designed to expand cultural access and strengthen the local creative ecosystem. Many residents currently have limited opportunities to engage with a diverse range of artistic perspectives.
CAP addresses this gap by bringing visiting artists into community spaces for artist-led workshops, talks, performances, and other creative experiences. Programs emphasize cultural exchange, creative learning, and community engagement, allowing residents to interact directly with artists from a variety of backgrounds.
A core principle of CAP is ethical artist compensation. Funds raised are used to pay participating artists and support program production, ensuring that programs remain free and accessible while valuing the labor and expertise of every artist.
Through CAP, Louise Cutler Studio helps build a vibrant, informed, and inclusive local arts community, strengthening cultural literacy, creative connection, and public dialogue in Fort Collins.
