Fort Collins, CO — Louise Cutler Studio CAP is proud to present An Evening With the Minstrels – Redefined in partnership with the Fort Collins Symphony, a powerful cultural event that brings together classical music, dance, poetry, and visual storytelling to honor and uplift the legacy of Black composers and performers.
This event reclaims and reframes the historical concept of the “minstrel,” transforming it into a celebration of artistic brilliance, cultural resilience, and community connection. Attendees will experience live chamber music performed by skilled musicians from the symphony who share the purpose and spirit of the event, along with guest performances in dance and spoken word.
